Fermented Pineapple

Protocol for Fermented Pineapple

Ingredients:

  • Pineapple: 20 kg (chopped into small pieces)
  • EngestTM: 200 gram/ml (10 grams per kilogram of pineapple)
  • NaHCO3: 2 kg (10% of the total weight of pineapple)
  • Water: 180 liters

Preparation:

  • Chop the pineapple into small pieces.
  • Dissolve 200 grams of EngestTM starter per kilogram of pineapple.
  • Add NaHCO3 to the mixture (2 kg total).
  • Combine the pineapple, Aquamimicry starter, NaHCO3, and water in a fermentation tank.

Fermentation:

  • Ferment the mixture for at least 72 hours.
  • Stir the mixture occasionally to ensure even fermentation.

Post-Fermentation:

  • Filter the fermented solution thoroughly.

Application Rate:

  • Mix 50-200 ml of the fermented pineapple (FP) solution per kilogram of shrimp pellet feed before feeding.

Storage and Usage:

  • The FP solution can be stored for a maximum of 30 days after the first use.
  • If storing for an extended period, ensure continuous aeration until the solution is used up.
  • Stir the solution well manually before each use to ensure consistency.
Fermented Rice Bran

Protocol for fermented Rice Bran (FRb)

Intensive Culture Protocol:

Area:

  • Intensive Culture: 1,000 cubic meters (50 ppm)

Ingredients and Quantities:

  • Rice Bran: 50 kg
  • BactipostTM Plus: 500 gram/ml (10 gram/ml per 1 kg of rice bran)
  • NaHCO3: 5 kg (0% of the total weight of rice bran)
  • Water: 200 liters

Instructions:

Tank Preparation:

  • Ensure the fermentation tank is at least 2.5 times larger than the total solution volume to allow for adequate mixing and fermentation.

Mixing:

  • Combine 50 kg of rice bran with 500 gram/ml of BactipostTM Plus.
  • Add 10 kg of NaHCO3 (10% of the rice bran weight).
  • Add 200 liters of water to the mixture.

Fermentation:

  • Allow the mixture to ferment for at least 24 hours.
  • Stir the mixture occasionally to ensure even fermentation.

Post-Fermentation:

  • Filter the fermented mixture thoroughly.
  • Broadcast only the liquid throughout the pond while aeration is on.
  • Reprocess the filtered rice bran residue in the fermentation tank until dissolved or pulverize it into liquid form.

Stocking:

  • Stock the new cycle of shrimp after 5-7 days from the initial dosage of synbiotics.

Extensive Culture Protocol

Area:

  • Extensive Culture: 1,000 cubic meters (10 ppm)

Ingredients and Quantities:

  • Rice Bran: 10 kg
  • BactipostTMPlus: 100 gram/ml (10 gram/ml per 1 kg of rice bran)
  • NaHCO3: 1 kg (10% of the total weight of rice bran)
  • Water: 40 liters

Instructions:

Tank Preparation:

Ensure the fermentation tank is at least 2.5 times larger than the total solution volume to allow for adequate mixing and fermentation.

Mixing:

  • Combine 10 kg of rice bran with 100 gram/ml of BactipostTM Plus.
  • Add 1 kg of NaHCO3 (10% of the rice bran weight).
  • Add 40 liters of water to the mixture.

Fermentation:

  • Allow the mixture to ferment for at least 24 hours.
  • Stir the mixture occasionally to ensure even fermentation.
  • Post-Fermentation:Filter the fermented mixture thoroughly.
  • Broadcast only the liquid throughout the pond while aeration is on.
  • Reprocess the filtered rice bran residue in the fermentation tank until dissolved or pulverize it into liquid form.

Fermented Fish

Protocol for fermented fish (FF)

Ingredients and Ratios:

  • Fish: 10 kg (ground into small pieces)
  • BactipostTM Plus: 200 gram/ml (10 gram/ml per 1 kg of fish)
  • NaHCO3: 1 kg (10% based on the total weight of fish)
  • Water: 100 liters

Fermentation Process:

Preparation:

  • Ground the fish into small pieces.

Mixing:

  • Combine the ground fish, BactipostTM Plus, NaHCO3, and water in a tank.
  • Fermentation:Allow the mixture to ferment for at least 7 days, stirring well occasionally.
  • No aeration is required during this process.

Storage:

  • The FF solution can be stored for a maximum of 30 days after the first use.
  • To extend its usability, add aeration until the solution is finished.

Preparation for Use:

  • Stir the solution manually before each use.
  • Mix 50-200 ml of FF per 1 kg of pellet feed and mix thoroughly.
  • Keep the mixture moist in a bag for at least 24 hours before feeding shrimp and fish.
Fermented Soymeal

Protocol for fermented soymeal (AP Juice)

Ingredients and Ratios:

  • Grounded Soymeal: 20 kg
  • BactipostTM Plus: 200 gram/ml (10 gram/ml per 1 kg of soymeal)
  • NaHCO3: 2 kg (10% based on the total weight of soymeal)
  • Water: 180 liters

Fermentation Process:

Preparation:

  • Ground the soymeal.

Mixing:

  • Combine the grounded soymeal, BactipostTM Plus, NaHCO3, and water in a tank.

Fermentation:

  • Allow the mixture to ferment for at least 4 days, stirring well occasionally.
  • No aeration is required during this process.

Storage:

  • The AP solution can be stored for a maximum of 10 days after the first use.
  • To extend its usability, add aeration until the solution is finished.
  • The color of the solution will turn greenish grey with a strong pungent odor.

Preparation for Use:

  • Stir the solution manually before each use.
  • Mix 50-200 ml of AP per 1 kg of pellet feed and mix thoroughly.
  • Keep the mixture moist in a bag for at least 24 hours before feeding shrimp and fish.
Fermented Feed

Extensive Fish Farming:

Fermented Feed for 1 Ha per day:

  • Rice Bran :                 10 kg
  • BactipostTM Plus :  10 gram (1 gram per kilogram of rice bran)
  • NaHCO3 :                   1 kg (10% base on total weight of rice bran)
  • Water :                        20 liter 

Direction for use:

  • Make sure the tank is large enough (at least 3 times larger than the solution to be ferment). 
  • Ferment for at least 24 hours (stir well occasionally). 
  • Feed the fish by broadcast directly into the pond.
