Broodstock Water Preparation using AQUAMIMICRY RED CAP

Water treatment application for larvae rearing tank (LRT) and Broodstock: 

For high turbidity, low alkalinity, low minerals and high vibrio load:

  • Add 10-20 gram/ml of BactipostTM Plus per ton of water with strong aeration for at least 48 hours before use.  

For low turbidity, moderate alkalinity, minerals and moderate vibrio load:

  • Add 5-10 gram/ml BactipostTM Plus per ton of water with strong aeration for at least 24 hours before use. 

Enhance artemia hatching tank (enhances hatching rate):

  • 5-10 gram/ml per tank.

-Application rate may vary depending on organic accumulation in the system.

-Repeat the same application rate the next day if necessary.

-Check for alkalinity, mineral content and vibrio plate count before and after treatment.
