AQUAMIMICRY

Reduces Harmful Vibrio Bacteria

Application Protocol for pH Stabilization in Aquatic Systems

Area Coverage:

Application Area: 1,000 square meters (3 ppm)

Ingredients and Quantities:

  • Wheat Flour:  3 kg (3 ppm)
  • Progest™:    30 grams/ml (10 grams per 1 kg of wheat flour)
  • NaHCO3:       300 gram (10% based on the total weight of wheat flour)
  • Water:            12 liters

Preparation:

Mixing:

  • Combine 3 kg of wheat flour with 30 grams/ml of Progest™ in a fermentation tank.
  • Add 12 liters of water to the mixture.
  • Add 300 grams of NaHCO3 to the fermenting tank.
  • Ensure the tank is at least three times larger than the volume of the solution to allow for proper fermentation.

Fermentation:

  • Ferment the mixture for at least 24 hours.
  • Stir the mixture occasionally to ensure even fermentation.

Application:

Broadcasting:

  • After fermentation, broadcast the Fermented Wheat Flour (FWF) solution throughout the pond while aeration is on.

Daily Application:

  • Apply the FWF solution daily until the pH is stabilized.

Reapplication:

  • If pH fluctuations persist, repeat the same application the next day or until the vibrio load is reduced.

Monitoring:

  • Ensure the pond's dissolved oxygen (D.O) levels are above 5-6 ppm at all times.
  • Monitor the pond's turbidity levels. Once the turbidity reaches 30 cm or less, stop applying FWF and maintain turbidity at 30 cm throughout the cycle.

Important Notes:

  • Regularly check and maintain pond D.O levels above 5-6 ppm.
  • Monitor turbidity levels and adjust application as needed to maintain optimal conditions.
  • Ensure proper filtration and aeration throughout the application process.

Summary:

Apply the Fermented Wheat Flour (FWF) solution daily to stabilize pH levels in ponds. Ensure proper fermentation, broadcasting, and monitoring to achieve optimal results. Adjust application based on pH stability and vibrio load reduction. Maintain D.O and turbidity levels within the recommended range for a healthy and stable aquatic environment.

AQUAMIMICRY® offers a comprehensive and effective protocol for addressing high Vibrio bacteria loads in aquaculture systems. By enhancing water quality, stabilizing pH levels, promoting beneficial microbial populations, and supporting zooplankton development, AQUAMIMICRY® helps create a healthier and more stable aquatic environment. Integrating Aquamimicry into your aquaculture management practices ensures better shrimp health, reduced disease incidence, and higher economic returns, making it the ultimate solution for high vibrio parahaemolyticus, vibrio harveyi, bacteria load problems.

Protocol : High Vibrio Bacteria Load Problems

High levels of Vibrio bacteria are a major concern in aquaculture, leading to severe health issues and economic losses. Addressing this problem requires a holistic approach that not only targets the bacteria but also enhances the overall health and stability of the aquatic environment. AQUAMIMICRY® offers a specialized protocol designed to mitigate high Vibrio bacteria loads through advanced fermentation techniques and ecosystem management.

ProgestTM

  • Starter fermentation of wheat flour (FWF)
  • Competitive exclusion against harmful pathogenic bacteria.
  • Reduces the pH fluctuating during day and night.
  • Establishes biocolloids in situ for pH balances.
  • Creates synbiotics (probiotic and prebiotic) in pond environment.
  • Enhances the development of zooplankton.
