Water Treatment

Water treatment application for Broodstock:

For high turbidity, low alkalinity, low minerals and high vibrio load:

  • Add 10-20 gram/ml of BactipostTM Plus per ton of water with strong aeration for at least 48 hours before use.

For low turbidity, moderate alkalinity, minerals and moderate vibrio load:

  • Add 5-10 gram/ml BactipostTM Plus per ton of water with strong aeration for at least 24 hours before use.

Enhance artemia hatching tank (enhances hatching rate):

  • 5-10 gram/ml per tank.

Guide Line:

  • Application rate may vary depending on organic accumulation in the system.
  • Repeat the same application rate the next day if necessary.
  • Check for alkalinity, mineral content and vibrio plate count before and after treatment.
  • The application rate for BactipostTM Plus may vary depending on organic accumulation in the system.
  • The same application rate may be repeated the next day if necessary.
Water Quality

Application :

Reduces Vibrio Load

Application :

  • Apply daily until pH is locked.

Tank size :

10 cubic meters Wheat Flour :

  • 200 grams (20 ppm)
  • ProgestTM: 2 gram/ml (20 gram per 1 kg of wheat flour)
  • Water : 1 liter

To ensure effective fermentation and application:

  • Make sure the tank is large enough, at least 3-5 times larger than the solution to be fermented.Ferment for at least 24 hours, stirring well occasionally.
  • Filter well and broadcast the solution throughout the tank while aeration is on.Feed twice daily, early morning and evening.
  • For FWF application:Ensure the tank is at least 3 times larger than the solution to be fermented.
  • Ferment for at least 24 hours, stirring well occasionally.
  • Broadcast the FWF throughout the pond while aeration is on.
  • If pH fluctuations persist, repeat the application the next day or until the Vibrio load is reduced.
  • Maintain pond D.O above 5-6 ppm at all times.Once turbidity reaches 30 cm or less, stop applying FWF and maintain it at 30 cm throughout the cycle.
