Detailed Application Instructions

For Intensive Culture:

  • Rice Bran:              5 kg (5 ppm)
  • Bactipost™ Plus: 50 ml (10 ml per 1 kg of rice bran)
  • NaHCO3:               500 gram (10% based on the total weight of rice bran)
  • Water:                    20 liters

For Extensive Culture:

  • Rice Bran:               1 kg (10 ppm)
  • Bactipost™ Plus:  10 ml (10 ml per 1 kg of rice bran)
  • NaHCO3:                 100 grams (10% based on the total weight of rice bran)
  • Water:                      4 liters

Application Guidelines

  • Ensure the tank is at least three times larger than the solution to be fermented.
  • Ferment for a minimum of 24 hours, stirring well occasionally.
  • Filter thoroughly and distribute the liquid throughout the pond while aeration is on.
  • Reprocess filtered rice bran residue in the fermentation tank until dissolved or pulverize it into liquid form.
  • Maintain alkalinity above 180 ppm.
  • Repeat the same application rate the next day if necessary.
  • Check for minerals (e.g., Ca+, Mg+, K+) and conduct vibrio plate counts before and after application.
